My name is Rob H., and I founded Atomic Moat Research with a single obsession: To find the rare businesses that are so efficient and dominant that they defy financial gravity.
I call these Atomic Moats.
These aren’t just “good stocks.” To find them, I have to turn over a lot of rocks.
A lot.
That is why I have two types of research on here:
I first analyze a company’s financial statements before anything else. Then, if I like what I see, I move over to research them in depth. That is why you will find mostly FINS content at the moment. I publish my findings and try to write them in an entertaining way, so it might be of help and inspiration to you too.
How I Work: The Atomic Framework
I don’t rely on gut feeling. I use a proprietary framework that combines institutional-grade financial analysis with a sanity check for the real world.
The Geiger Test: I stress-test the Balance Sheet. Is the debt toxic? Is the liquidity safe? If the Geiger counter ticks, we don’t buy.
The Reaction Chamber: I analyze the Income Statement to see if the core business is generating heat (Margins) or just burning fuel (Revenue without profit).
Energy Output: Profit is an opinion. Cash Flow is a fact. I follow the cash.
